In February 2021, Denvo took over the management of Råknes Gård Sjømat AS to lead the company through the planning and construction of a full-scale land-based fish farming facility.
In September 2021 we started fishing for broodstock.
Work continues through 2023
Norwegian salmon has put Norway on the world map in fish farming. Now it is Arctic Spotted Catfish's turn to take the development a step further.
Denvo assists Råknes Gård Sjømat with the application for a license, team composition, negotiations, special staffing, capital security and structuring the entire organization.
Plant for 6,000 tons per year
The facility at Råkneset will become one of the world's largest fish farming facilities for Spotted Catfish and a modern workplace for locals.
The company is currently planning a share issue of NOK 25 million to carry out an impact analysis and launch infrastructure.
Perfect location
Ylvingen's location offers a short distance to cold water from the depths. The area has previously been used for small-scale catfish farming and was one of the first areas used for this in the country.
