Nordic cooperation
For centuries, the Nordic countries have cooperated and traded with each other. Today, Iceland has taken major steps to invest in salmon, trout and char, and now it's the turn of Spotted Catfish.
The investment through Denv o Wolffish Iceland is part of a strategy to secure Spotted Catfish on the world market.
Natural resources
Iceland has many of the same qualities as we find in northern Norway . Denv o finds sustainable solutions in electricity and water access through mountain cleaning. This provides long-term and good solutions for farming.
Iceland also has logistics solutions and proximity to markets that provide economic and environmental benefits.
Location
We are currently in negotiations with the Icelandic authorities and energy suppliers. We plan to establish strong collaboration with, among others, the Icelandic Institute of Marine Research
Broodstock and fry from Iceland and Norway
The collaboration between our Nordic companies is strong and the companies will benefit from sharing expertise in addition to strengthening the broodstock and spreading risk.
